Very good value for money. Bar is nice but menu a touch on the expensive side. Rooms are being refurbished and I stayed in rm 8 which was not yet refurbished. Even so room was okay, if not a bit small. Bed was really small as well.

Thanks a lot for a comfortable stay on our second visit. It has a pleasant location just off maybe a bottle of mineral water and a hill that overlooks a beautiful beach. There's Real Tandoori offering takeout a 10-15 minute walking distance from the venue.

We upgraded to a sea view room that had been recently renovated. It was magnificent and we thoroughly enjoyed our two nights there. The staff, facilities and food were excellent and the bed the biggest and most comfortable on our holiday. The Sunday carvery was outstanding.A hotel we would thoroughly recommend if you want luxury and location.
Nothing. It was a superb stay.

We have known and have eaten in the Hotel but never stayed there. The location suited us well as we wished to be in the Banff area. The view from the hotel over to the village of Whitehills is very beautiful especially in the lovely weather that we had. Staff were exceedingly helpful and cheerful. Might we respectfully suggest that attention be given to the quantity of food served at dinner. For people like ourselves in later years, large helpings are no longer"enjoyed". Might the menus be noted that half portions are available. We think that it is a sin to have to return uneaten (good) food. After having "suffered" the first evening, we spoke up on ordering and were given Child's portions on our second evening--just the job.
The room was said to have been completely refurbished--we would doubt that--the toilet pan was cracked and the seat uneven. The bath bottom was marked. The tv kept switching off and then on again but not always to the channel being viewed.

I have staye at this hotel on numerous occasions and always receive excellent service. The hotel is also being upgraded at the moment which will improve the room decor more. Hopefully this will not result in a rate increase as my company budget is at the current room rate.
